Moto G (2013) finally updates to 4.4.4 with 21MB OTA in the US

While the original Moto G may not be at the top of everyone's mind, Motorola has still committed to getting it updated, pushing out a 4.4.4 OTA tonight to the U.S. unlocked model. The Moto G was already sitting on 4.4.3 so the update comes in at just 21MB and doesn't include anything shocking other than performance improvements — but getting an update is always a good thing.

As a matter of fact, the Moto G already picked up the update in the U.K. back in July, so the U.S. is just playing catchup at this point. If you've got an original Moto G in the U.S., now's the time to check for updates.
