Can I Use A Hard Drive From a 32 Bit System With A 64 Bit Computer?

I have a 2.0 USB to sata/ide drive that you can read a hard drive on your computer as another drive. Can you use a 8.16,  or 32 bit hard drive on a 64 bit machine or do they have to be the same?

Leone, hard drives are not 64 or 32 bit systems. Those terms only apply to operating systems.  A hard drive is a piece of hardware. If you  remove a hard drive from an old computer to use as an external drive, it doesn’t matter if the computer it came from has a 64 or 32 bit system.
